My desire to master the art of photography arose when wandering around in nature of my home region the Veluwe. How wonderful would it be to be able to capture and share these beautiful moments of wildlife encounters and atmospheric sceneries.

So, in 2004 I bought my first camera. To develop and enhance my skills I followed workshops and read books and many websites. And most important of all: I practiced! To gain broader knowledge in the field of photography, I went to the Craft School of Photography (Fotovakschool).

I occasionally photograph other subjects such as sports, events or portraits. Nature photography abroad has added new elements of joy, challenge and creativity in recent years.
